Isaiah 64 >> King James Version (focus vs 8)

1Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
2As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! 3When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. 4For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. 5Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved. 6But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. 7And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. 8But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. 9Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people. 10Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. 11Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. 12Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

Backgroud of the book of Isiah......

The Book of Isaiah is one of the most important books of the Old Testament which is written by the Prince of Prophets, Prophet Isaiah. While little is known of the personal life of the prophet, he is considered to be one of the greatest of them all.

The book is a collection of oracles, prophecies, and reports; but the common theme is the message of salvation. There was, according to these writings, no hope in anything that was made by people. The northern kingdom of Israel had been carried into captivity (722 B.C.), and the kingdom of Judah was in the middle of idolatry and evil.

As we exmaine this passage of Scripture and the Prophet Isaiah was speaking to the people of Judah whom of coarse was comminting idolatry which is the worship/creation of other gods and evil thus the Prophet was prophesying what is and what will be, as we know that prophesy is past, present and future.

Thus God was to make people over again by removing these sinful acts because he is the pottter and we are the clay.

Make me over again... As Gods People are born in sin and shaped in inquity and we die in sin daily thus God must make Gods people over again in order to shape them in his likeness, in order that Gods people may follow the paths of the lord and live right.

Make me over again... In order that Gods people are made over again if you have not obtained salvation you must obtain it which is the rebirth of your life under Gods new blood. If you have already obtained salvation sometimes the vesel is cracked or damaged by the enemy interefering in your life thus God must take that clay and fix that foundation that vessel in order that enemy may no longer enter in or cause the vesel to be unstable.

Make me over again.....The body is the vesel which  houses your spirit thus God must take that putty which his spirit and close your vessel back up.

Then sometimes God must break the mold and start all over again to design Gods People the way that he would have them to be.

Make me over again.... Gods People you have to allow him that as you go through this life and you expirence turbulence you must give lee way to God in order that he can step in and fix where you have fallen apart at.

God is ever moving so let him move in your Life everyday.

pray this....God as you are the potter and I am the clay I give consent to you to make me over again.
