Stand and Defeat

 

                Daniel Chapter 6

   ¹⁶ So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!”
   ¹⁷ A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel’s situation might not be changed. ¹⁸ Then the king returned to his palace and spent the night without eating and without any entertainment being brought to him. And he could not sleep.
   ¹⁹ At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. ²⁰ When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”
   ²¹ Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! ²² My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”
   ²³ The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.
   ²⁴ At the king’s command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions’ den, along with their wives and children. And before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.

Good Evening Readers,

We find as we look at this very familar passage scripture how the prophet Daniel was cast in the lions den because he would not bow down to the king beacuse the prophet Daniel was fathful to God and because of his trust,faith,beliveth, and dedication the lions did not harm him. Thus King had to honor Daniels Lord and make him to be one of his closes advisors.

Within our lifetime we also have a Lions Dens that we are cast in to by family,friends, associates,and  co-workers. These people come up because of what they have inside of them which is not the lord that they just want you to be destroyed. Readers your Lions are aslo satin is also the person that will cast you into the Den, but readers you must be an overcomer by the renewence of your mind allow your mind,heart, and sprit to remain with god, beasue if you abide in these things  you can defeat them and  the enemy  will not swallow you up and have no choice but realease you.

Readers you have to stand on your faith in god and his promise which one of his promises is that he will not put more on you that what you can bare. You have to stand by your convictions because in that you can go  forwad as you will give the enemy no power or control of your life like God controled the Lions in the Den .

Let god step in today and close the mouth of enemys around and the enemys within. You can do anything through Christ Jesus wh strengthens you.

Pray this... Heavenly Father I need you to deliver out of the pit of my enemies as I never want to be swalloed up. Take control of every area in my  life.
